We choose to travel ‘green’: During our Hill tribe trekking we minimize our impact on the environment: we provide biodegradable soap and shampoo for the group and follow the ‘Leave No Trace’ rules. Most places where we stay recycle and refill water bottles.
At the Sunflower lodge – village stay, we experience authentic Thai culture and village life. We eat local food and avoid specialty foods that had to be transported from afar.
We support the local community by paying fair prices and staying in locally owned guesthouses. We support 'Eco conscious' projects: Sustainable community which focuses on organic farming and natural earth building.
We choose to travel in small groups (6 – 12 pax) which makes it easier to make contact with local people. We keep the group informed about local traditions and etiquette to bridge cultural gaps.
