On this 10 day untouched Yoga Adventure, we will discover Thai culture in an original way, hike through untouched jungle and interact with majestic elephants. We will stay overnight at different Hill Tribe villages and experience their daily life. The simple way of life will inspire and renew you. We will balance staying at comfortable nature resorts with sharing a bamboo longhouse. Explore hidden jungle temples, cycle along rice fields, enjoy Thai Massage and learn Thai cooking at an organic farm. You will notice that a day started off with Yoga just feels different. You will return home with a personal exercise program for daily practice. We travel in small groups so we can take you off the beaten track. You can extend your trip with snorkelling and relaxing at Koh Chang island.
Day One: Welcome to Thailand! (D)
Our adventure begins in Chiang Mai. We will pick you up at the Chiang Mai airport and bring you to our lovely boutique hotel, where you can relax in the peaceful garden or by the pool after your long flight. Opening circle and briefing at our Thai Style Hotel. We will spend a relaxing evening enjoying a boat cruise on the River Ping as you dine on this enchanting river. This is an idyllic relaxing way to begin our Thai adventure, drifting past old temples and houses that lie on the river banks before we head home for a good night’s sleep!
Day 2: Jungle temples & hike to the waterfalls (B - L)
After lunch, we will take a one hour hike in Doi Suthep National Park to visit a Buddhist Forest Temple on Doi Suthep Mountain with stunning views over the city. The temple is surrounded by rivers, waterfalls. You will get a short introduction to Buddhism. We will go for another hike to a small waterfall through the beautiful jungle, here is the ideal spot for your first introduction to Qigong - yoga.
Day 3: Elephant Sanctuary and Jungle Trekking (B - L - D)
After breakfast we will set off on our 2-day jungle trek! We will spend the entire morning getting to know the elephants! We will spend time with the elephants, and join them in their daily routine. We will be able to learn more their natural behavior from the Karen Mahouts (elephant herders) that have been living with elephants for centuries. We will hike 2 - 3 hours (12 kms) each day through remote Hill Tribe villages (and yes, it is hilly) following jungle trails.
Our trekking guide knows the jungle like the back of their hands and will spoil you with his delicious jungle-made meals. We stay overnight in a simple Hill Tribe hut, and discover local customs and traditions of two different Hill Tribe villages. We leave our big packs in storage and take an overnight bag. Each person is required to be able to carry their own daypack and our porters will be carrying food supplies. For accommodation, We will all share a single sleeping room in a longhouse made of bamboo overlooking the stunning rice fields. Toilet and washing facilities are basic. Our “beds” will be made on raised sleeping platforms, using sleeping pads, with sleeping bags laid on top, surrounded by mosquito netting. In the evening, our local guides will regale you with stories around the campfire of their life in the jungle.
Day 4: Jungle trek - Nature lodge (B - L)
After a morning of trekking and floating down the river on a bamboo raft, we will travel 2,5 hours by songtaew to the nature lodge North of Chiang Mai. Relax and recharge in Nature at this unique nature lodge on the lake surrounded by mountains. We end the day with an evening circle and meditation under the stars.
Day 5: Nature lodge (B - L)
Morning Qi- yoga practice. We balance exploring the idyllic surroundings with going within. You can choose to relax at the swimming pool or enthousiasts can cycle along vivid green rice fields at a comfortable pace, visit local artisans, and out to the lake. You will feel like you are in paradise! Walking meditation in the rice fields.
Day 6: Waterfall - Chiang Dao (B)
Morning Yoga session. After breakfast we will visit Bua Tong waterfall. After your refreshing stop, you will head to Chiang Dao, home to the impressive Chiang Dao mountain range. Our lovely nature lodge is located near Chiang Dao cave at the foot of the mountains. Relaxing evening at our nature lodge.
Day 7: Chiang Dao (B)
Today you can choose to explore Chiang Dao limestone cave temple or Wat Tham Pha Plong half way up the mountain with great mountain views. A peaceful spot to meditate. Enthusiasts can explore both.

Day 8: Chiang Mai (B - L)
After breakfast we will check in at the same Thai style hotel. Afternoon Qi-yoga session in the garden. The fun does not end when the sun goes down, to explore the infamous night street market. The bazaar is a series of covered markets, shops and stalls that offer the best selection of handicrafts in Thailand. We will have the evening free for shopping, grab dinner on one of the patios, wander around the illuminated golden temples around the market and perhaps stop for a rejuvenating massage!
Day 9: Thai Cooking (B - L)
After breakfast we will learn Thai cooking. You will travel to a Thai organic farm on the outskirts of the city to explore Thai cuisine. Our Thai chef will guide us around the local marketplace to learn about Thai spices, fruits and herbs. Then we will be guided through her organic garden and share the secrets of her delightful food. Our hard work will be rewarded as we taste our self made dishes. Closing circle.
Day 10: Departure or feel free to extend your trip (B)
Depending on your departure time, you can choose to relax at the swimming pool or explore the hundreds of narrow streets and temples of the ancient city of Chiang Mai. We will arrange transfer back to the airport or train station. We can arrange the comfortable night train to Bangkok if you would like...
Koh Chang island: White beaches and snorkelling
Private transfer to Koh Chang island. Koh Chang has been able to keep its original authenticity, it is still a beautiful green island with wild jungle and white beaches. Overnight stay at Family beach Resort with swimming pool and located at a beautiful beach.
Explore this beautiful Tropical island. You can fill your days with swimming, beach walks and relaxing under a palm Tree. There is a full day guided snorkel trip by boat included. This is the ideal place to relax after our adventure.
